You can easily access your prescriptions through our practice in several ways. Repeat prescriptions can be:
- requested online via our secure patient portal (SystmOne Online / Airmid): https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com/2/Login?PracticeId=C82092&Date=20230912074652
- through the NHS App
- by submitting a written request at reception.
Aylestone Health Centre does NOT take medication and prescription requests over the telephone. This is a safety measure and exceptions will only be made for housebound patients.
Any repeat medication requests will take a minimum of 48 hours to process and send to your nominated pharmacy – please order your repeat medications in a timely manner and do not wait until you have run out before contacting the practice. We will not be able to issue prescriptions on the day. For your safety, we may occasionally ask you to book a review before renewing certain medications. Prescriptions are sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy, making it quick and convenient to collect your medicines.
Please be aware that you can request medications that are on repeat prescribing using the methods above. If you are requesting a medication that is new or for a medicine that you have not had for a period of time (Acute prescription), you will need to have a consultation with a healthcare professional BEFORE the item will be given. This is to ensure that the medication is appropriate for you and will not interfere with any other medication you are taking.
