Hearing Loop System
A loop induction system at Reception aids the hearing impaired. For more details, visit the Hearing Link website.
Blind/Partially Sighted
Upon request, we can provide a CD or large print version of our Practice leaflet for blind or partially sighted patients. For further resources and support, visit:
Toilets
Aylestone Health Centre has two toilets for the disabled, one one the ground floor and one on the first floor.
Lift
The practice has a lift for easy access to the first floor although the majority of our appointments happen on the ground floor. Please ask Reception Staff if you require access to the lift as it requires a key to operate it.
Disabled Parking
The 1st space on the left as you enter the car-park is a designated disabled parking space.
Wheelchairs
Please note that although we are able to accommodate wheelchairs and indeed, have a practice wheelchair for patient use, we are not able to accommodate motorised scooters inside the Health Centre and we ask that you park these in an appropriate place outside in the car park. If you need assistance with accessing the Health Centre and are unable to bring someone along with you to help, please let the Reception Staff know when you book your appointment and we will make every effort to help.
Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are welcome at the Practice. Please be considerate of other patients and staff who may have allergies or fears of dogs. Visit the Guide Dogs website for more information.
